The Library is an estate building that allows you to research different topics. Upgrading the Library allows you to start research of increasing levels.

Each upgrade increases warehouse storage.
Maneuver[]
Each upgrade increases combat unit speed by 10% when moving to friendly tiles.
Mechanics[]
Each upgrade increases unit load carrying capacity by 5%.
Carjacking[]
Each upgrade increases unit combat speed by 10%.
Corruption[]
Each upgrade decreases training time of Health and Operative units by 2.5%, and decreases training time of Balance and Support units by 1.25%.
Construction[]
Each upgrade decreases building upgrade and construction time by 2.5%.
Proficiency[]
Each upgrade decreases training times for Damage and Shock Troop units by 2.5%, and decreases training time for Balanced and Support Troop units .
Medicine[]
Each upgrade increases unit health by 5%.
Muscle[]
Each upgrade increases unit attack by 5%.
Quickdraw[]
Each upgrade gives Shock Troops additional 0.5% damage bonus (available in Little Italy only)
Each upgrade increases amount of troops received from training by 1%.
Bureaucracy[]
Each upgrade increases jail capacity by 250.
Barricade
Each upgrade gives Entrenching Troops additional 0.5% health bonus (available in Queens only)
